Kitchen Party. With The Local Omnivore


Join us for our weekly celebration of cocktails and cookery!

Tonight we'll be joined by The Local Omnivore crew! We'll start with their house-made corned beef canapes, then we'll learn how to cure meat, make sausage, make jam, and pickle some daikon. And we'll enjoy some delicious cocktails that based on beer and cider, all shaken and stirred up by our house bartender, Happy J. Byrne.

Wondering what our Kitchen Parties are all about? Imagine that your best friend's house party included a professional chef and a bartender. We will get you chopping, shaking, and stirring as we bring this party to life!


Class Fee: $139 per person, plus GST. Your Fee Includes: a 4-hour class, a full meal with matched drinks, and a recipe pack to take home.

Your space will not be approved unless you submit payment with your registration. See below for more details.

Please note that if you need to cancel your booking you must do so no less than 14 days prior to the date of your class in order to receive a full refund.

If alcohol is not your thing, let us know in advance. Happy loves making drinks for any lifestyle, because they are all well deserved.

This summer Get Cooking is moving it's kitchen from Kathryn's Riverbend home to a brand new commercial space at MacEwan University downtown. We expect to be open for business from mid-August and a brand new schedule of Fall classes and events will be online and available for booking by the end of July 2014.
