How to Cook Beef. With Doreen Prei & Kathryn Joel

Have you ever wondered how to cook the perfect steak to the right temperature? Or which cuts you should cook slowly and which need to be cooked fast? Or what to serve with your favourite cuts of beef? In this class we will teach you all of this and more, as we show you how to perfect Alberta’s beloved protein. From raw to grilled, braised, pan seared, wrapped or roasted, you will leave us with an arsenal of new skills along with a thorough understanding of which technique to choose for which cut of meat.

This class is not suitable for vegetarian diets. Gluten free substitutions are available on request.

Class Fee: $139 per person, plus GST. Your Fee Includes: a 4-hour class, a full meal with wine pairings and a recipe pack to take home.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to cancel your booking you must do so no less than 14 days prior to the date of your class in order to receive a full refund.

GET COOKING IS MOVING

This summer Get Cooking is moving it's kitchen from Kathryn's Riverbend home to a brand new commercial space at MacEwan University downtown. We expect to be open for business from mid-August and a brand new schedule of Fall classes and events will be online and available for booking by the end of July 2014.
